Welcome to the on-line home of Karma Body Shop, a studio for Yoga, Pilates, and body sculpting.

Our new class studio is conveniently located in the Cummings Building at the corner of William and Purchase Streets in downtown New Bedford.

December updates

• We are happy to announce the addition of Angela to the Karma team. Starting in December, she will offer a full hour of Kripalu Yoga during our Friday Lunch-hour workouts.
• The studio will be closed from December 15 to December 28 for the holidays. We hope that like us, you will enjoy spending time with your families. Hoping you have karmic holidays!
• Foul weather notice: in cases of snow/sleet/etc a recorded message will be posted at least one hour before class at 617-218-7326. Please call before making the trip in bad weather.

December 11: The Artful Holiday

5:00-6:30pm: we'll be offering "Make Peace" with stories, crafts and activities for all ages.
7:00-8:00pm: "Relaxation for the Holidays". Free sample chair massage!

New Year's Eve
December 31

5:00-6:00pm: Story-time Yoga. Create a story through simple poses.
6:30-7:30pm: Spa Time. Art, massage and Yoga therapy.
8:00-8:30pm: Good karma for the New Year. A 30 minute exercise in relaxation, with live accompaniment.

Serenity Saturdays

This exclusive ultimate spa day is being offered select Saturdays from 11-3 beginning in January. Begin the day with a chakra color workshop. Pick a color you love and move on to a wonderful hand dying workshop where you will design and make your own silk sarong. Take a break for a healthy lunch, extra yoga workshop or simply shop downtown, then come back for a wonderful target area chair massage and finish the day off with a full hour of restorative yoga and stress-reducing relaxation exercise. Leave with your beautiful hand made sarong, chakra stone, lavendar eye pillow and restored mind and body. Serenity Saturdays make a great gift. $125 per person includes lunch, gifts and all programs. 5 person limit ensures special attention to detail.
